North and South

As long time readers will know I've been going to the national YSA convention which is held over the August back holiday weekend for the past three years and this year will be my fourth. Now it is looking very likely at this point that I will be the only one going from this side of the stake if not the whole stake. I've just found out that based on the number of current registrations to the conference the best represented stake at this point will be Nottingham. So it looks like we're going to have the two stakes which are at opposite end of the spectrum being two stakes that are next door to each other!

The weather has taken a turn for the better today. It's not been really hot but it has been sunny and quite mild which has been nice. According to the weathermen this nice weather is supposed to stay around until the weekend so hopefully we won't need a brolly for the trip up to preston ( going to have to get up at 7am on Saturday arrgghhhhh!) but knowing what the weather can be like in that part of the world I'm still going to put one in the car just in case.

Now I think that it maybe just maybe it was a slow news day as apparently there was a five minute segiment on the news last night about how Mars will crash into the Earth..... In about three to five billion years. Wow urgent news I can see what that news report required five minutes!

still better then the usual doom and gloom though.

Later folks!
