Aspiring Angel ( who assures me she will shortly be restarting her blog) waits in her quiz room waiting for the first victim ehh I mean contestant to try to answer her riddles as part of the Mental game.
And here the first contestant is now.
In the cultural hall we had two physical games. The first involved shooting hoops with a basketball. ( by the way the carpet is only a temporary one. It does have a wooden floor)
The second involved one constestant guiding another round a maze of chairs whilst blindfolded carrying a egg on a spoon ( or at least thats what I heard it was, don't ask me I was just organising it! wait.....)
Ah now onto our most talked about game of the evening. Kmcr's Mystery game. Genius in it's simplicity evil in it's Entirety. Just to remind anyone who has forgot. The game involved two team members having to peel two oranges as fast as possible using only their teeth.

Which involved them having to guide a remote control car round this track. Yes I know it's a bit cheap to use chairs but it's not like we had the budget of the actual TV series! To make it more interesting, i.e fun to watch the person guiding the car was blindfolded and had to rely on directions from their team mates.
Finally each team selected a member to go into the 'crystal dome'. Where they had to collect as many gold pieces of paper as they could in the time avalabile. Of course to make it just like the crystal dome we borrowed as many industrial fans as we could law our hands on. Yes that is tissue paper flying around the room! KmcR is standing there to keep an eye on things to make sure theres no cheating!
Finally after the fun and games it was time for food. 75 YSA eat a lot of food! 19 Pizzas, six full size cakes, three bottles of squash and 8 boxs of chips !
All in all. A very fun night

it was good Sian. You have no idea how relieved I was that it went okay. It was a big responsibility organised the last ever one.
Yes it was good to relax Anne, it was very much a big weight off my shoulders once it was all over.
